I have a store, can I get a terminal for donations?

No you can't. The donation pos is only addressed to non-commercial public benefit organizations such as non-profit organizations, NGOs, associations, Holy Temples, Monasteries, Foundations, unions.

Can the donation terminal be used for monastic charities and animal welfare organizations?

Yes, the donation terminal can be used for this purpose. Our system allows the collection of donations for various purposes, including projects supporting monasteries or other charitable initiatives. By using POS technology, donors can contribute easily and quickly through payments (Ministry of Home Affairs Pol. 1044/10.02.2015)

Is there a tax exemption from donations made by citizens?

Yes there is:
Tax deductions of article 19 of the Income Tax Code (KFE – Law 4172/2013)
According to article 19 of the Tax Code, regarding Tax Reductions for donations
The amount of the tax is reduced by twenty percent (20%) on the amounts of donations to the bodies defined in the decision of the next paragraph, as long as the donations exceed during the tax year the amount of one hundred (100) euros. The total amount of donations cannot exceed five percent (5%) of taxable income. Especially for donations to charitable institutions, Holy Temples, Monasteries and registered Civil Society Organizations, the amount of tax is reduced by forty percent (40%) on the amounts of donations to these bodies, as long as the donations exceed the duration of the tax year the amount of one hundred (100) euros and the amounts of the donations are deposited in special bank accounts for this purpose that operate legally in an EU member state. or of E.O.H.. The total amount of donations in this case cannot exceed forty percent (40%) of the taxable income.

Up to what amount can I donate with my card?
